About Clinton
Clinton Lee Langford is Thunderclap’s research editor, a role he has held since October 2024. He is responsible for the research and review standards behind the guides we keep maintained — what gets sourced, what gets checked against the platforms’ own documentation, and what gets updated when a platform changes.
He is also a cloud architect at Oracle. In his own words, he is “drawn to the parts of a problem most people skim past”, and his work sits at “the intersection of building systems and explaining them: deep research, detailed reporting, and the kind of writing that answers the question behind the question.”
Articles in our maintained library carry a “Reviewed by” line with his name. Our legacy archive — imported posts we no longer maintain — does not: we only attach his name to work his review actually covers.
The standards behind a “Reviewed by” line
Checked against the source
Platform features, thresholds and rules are verified against the platforms' own documentation and help centres — not against other blogs.
Only the maintained library
The “Reviewed by” line appears only on guides we actively maintain. Legacy archive posts make no review claim — we don't attach a name to work it never covered.
Accountable in public
Our editorial policy is published, dates are shown on every article, and corrections are made when a reader flags something wrong.
The rest of the team
We publish a profile only when you can verify the person outside this site. Everything else we'd rather not claim.
